- Rocking Like Cosmonauts at the GRV [Edinburgh]
- Have you ever had a tea party with a cosmonaut in the pale moonlight of a suburban city? Well that´s not even close to the sheer awe you will feel when you inhale your own excitement at a party made exclusively for you and a bunch of other people!
On the 31st of July at a magical venue in Edinburgh named The GRV, we will be unleashing small parcels of joy and sucking back on our musical bubble pipes, bringing you hot music from our new album and some golden old classics for you to get all nostalgic with and party like it´s 2007.
The evening will also feature music from other bands carefully selected to rock your frocks off! Fancy dress is encouraged. In fact, according to some sources fancy dress is purely dependent upon the humans size. So please take that into account when boarding the rocket ship.

- Daily Record Album Review
- Rick Fulton wrote a rather touching review of Midnight Finger Painter in today's Daily Record [07 Mar 08]. For those who can't get their hands on a copy, here's the review:
Imagine the craziness if Beck, Bjork, Mika and Flavor Flav decided to form a band and you've stepped inside the mind of The Kazoo Funk Orchestra.
Despite the Funk in the name, this isn't some awful Seventiesinfused Afro-wearing combo. There's more hip hop, Talking Heads and Depeche Mode than Earth, Wind & Fire in the KFO.
The 25 songs that make up the Glaswegian nine-piece indie pop group last for only a minute or two and titles include A Swatch O' The Happenins, Fire In My Fungus, Roasted Underbelly and Keep Your Hard Hat On.
But there's brilliance in the bizarre: The art rock of Rustle The Trees, the Joy Division meets Kraftwerk of She's A Little Angel, the Linkin Park of Information In Formation. And are there kazoos? Oh yes.

- Welcome to the new Kazoo Funk Orchestra website, we hope it tickles your fancy and shakes your biscuits. It was built by fictional characters named Cheeto and Figmin for the fair exchange of an invisible bag of space termites.
Cheeto does the drawing, he uses big crayons and enjoys fizzy drinks. Figmin on the other hand is a bad ass web engineer who feeds on the brain juice from unsuspecting local heros.
As the website makes use of magical technologies that may be completely fictional, we'd like to ask that if you find any bugs or encounter any errors please be sure to let Cheeto and Figmin know by emailing them at support@kazoofunkorchestra.com
On some pages you will find little icons beside song names and you may wonder, 'what are these?', well, they are little buttons that make magic happen. The pink headphones [] will let you listen to the song in the player at the top, the green down arrow [] will let you download the song to your computer and the blue square [] will display the lyrics for the song.
